This meeting of crocheters and knitters will get to work on projects to benefit those in need, which will include waterproof sleeping mats for the homeless, baby blankets for Project Linus, and ""knitted knockers,"" which are soft comfortable prosthesis alternatives for breast cancer survivors. Patterns and some supplies will be provided, though participants are encouraged to bring their own knitting needles and crochet hooks. (Knitting needles DPN or circular size 4, crochet hook size 4.5 or G7) Want to help but don't know how to knit? No problem! Come stuff the knockers with filler or make ""plarn"" from shopping bags for sleeping mats.
