Domestic violence has become a growing issue in our community. Research indicates that nearly 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men have experienced abusive behaviors in their relationship. During this workshop, participants will learn the dynamics of domestic violence, identify warning signs, understand why leaving abusive relationships can be difficult, and ways to support someone experiencing abuse in their relationship. Remember that abuse thrives in silence. We must speak up and speak out; it could potentially save someone's life!
