Recycled Reads Senior (65+) Book Sale Second Friday of Each Month | 10 AM - 1pm | No sales in November or December 3434 North Blvd, Baton Rouge (corner of North Blvd & Acadian)
Don't miss one of the library's most popular events! The Recycled Reads Senior book sale, hosted by the Patrons of the Public Library (POPL) with support from the Library, draws a big crowd each month. You'll find a wide selection of gently used books at unbeatable prices, with all proceeds benefiting the East Baton Rouge Parish Library system including popular literacy events like the Summer Reading Program, One Book One Community, and the Author/Illustrator program.
You must be 65 or older to attend this sale.
The Senior Sale will be on the second Friday of each month (January through October).
We kindly ask that you only attend one sale per calendar month, so we can serve everyone fairly.
No registration required
$40 spending limit per person
Barcode scanning tools/apps are no longer allowed at Recycled Reads at any of the sales. This event is intended for leisure shoppers.
Digital payments are accepted.
Parking is limited due to the event's popularity. A small lot is available across Westmoreland, and street parking is permitted.
